With each new week, Farmer Dave's and Arrowhead bring new items from their fields for us to enjoy. Stop by and see what to get this week..
Seafood Express offers great seafood and fish. Get fresh for now or stock up on frozen lobster tails to grill over the weekend.
Many of you were looking for Bagel Land last week when they got delayed setting up. Let them know you missed them.
Maple Syrup will dress up the breakfast portion of the weekend days and Maple Pot Honey Farm has what we want including FRESH EGGS.
If you haven't tried Powerhouse Juice yet, don't miss out on Wednesday. With 4 varieties to choose from, they have something for you.

Here is what's in store for you this week.
Farmer Dave's had an assortment of greens and strawberries, plants and flowers.
Arrowhead Farm also brought some greenhouse tomatoes and jellie
Seafood Express offers their usual great selection of fresh fish and seafood items.
Razzy's has all your favorite sweets with squares and cookies as well as some gluten free products.
Deano's Pasta brings several types of raviolis and 2 sauces as well as Fusilli. I know I need to replenish my supply this week!
Have you tried Powerhouse Juices selection? Prepackaged cold pressed fruit juices and smoothies are delicious.
Bagel Land put smiles on many faces last week with not only bagels, but some nice hearty breads.
We hope to see Rae's Gourmet arrive with Kettle Corn and fresh squeezed lemonade.

We are so excited to open up the 2016 outdoor season for the North Reading Farmer's Markets. The weather looks great for Wednesday and the vendors are all gearing up for another year of providing us with some of the best local produce and products available. The Market opens at 4:00 and continues until 7:00 at Ipswich River Park with plenty of parking available. This will be our 3rd season and we need your help to continue to improve and grow the market so we can be assured on having the best vendors around. Please try to build us into your weekly schedule and we're sure you will be glad you do.
WHO'S COMING THIS WEEK?
We are still working on some of the spots, so please continue to watch for updates, but here are the ones that are all set.
ARROWHEAD FARM will have Asian Greens, Lettuces, new crop Onions, storage Potatoes and Garlic, Rhubarb, Strawberries, greenhouse grown Heirloom Tomatoes, as well as Jams & Jellies and probably some flowers.
FARMER DAVE'S will also have a great selection of Bok Choy, lettuce, strawberries, and more. Each week the selection will grow as the season produces more and more items.
HONEY POT MAPLE FARM plans on being with us every other week so you want to make sure you get enough honey and maple syrup to keep everyone smiling for 2 weeks at a time.

TOWER ROOT BEER is on the schedule this week for all you soda lovers
RAZZY'S BAKERY is one table that very few people can pass without trying a sample and you'll see just how delicious the baked goods can be
POWERHOUSE JUICES is new to our market this year. They specialize in cold pressed juices and nut milks.
KITTREDGE CANDLES is coming to the opening market and you'll want to get a sniff of some of their wonderful scents.
We hope to add another new vendor this week, KG CREATIONS They make chocolates krafted with great care.
OUR COMMUNITY TABLE THIS WEEK WILL BE FOR THE LITTLE SCHOOL PLAYGROUND and they will have some kid activities to do.

This weather is helping us feel like its getting closer to the outdoor markets, but believe it or not, the indoor season comes to an end SATURDAY.
Once again, we invade the North Reading Moose Lodge 1511 from 9:00 to 1:00 to provide the opportunity to buy local.
It's a busy weekend with Mother's Day, but just stop by and it will be worth the trip. Pick up something for Mom or treat yourself.

This Saturday, from 9:00 to 1:00 at the North Reading Moose Lodge 1511 on North St we have 14 vendors ready to offer you some of the best local products available. Many of you regulars couldn't make it last time and we hope to see you with us this week.
This is a great time of year to get local produce from our 2 farms, Arrowhead and Farmer Dave's. It always amazes me the amount of items they have to offer. This time last year, they also had some beautiful floral baskets and plants.
Many of you missed having Seafood Express last market, but they are scheduled to be with us this time. Take advantage of the opportunity to order ahead to be sure and get your first choice. They will also have fresh fish and seafood if you can't decide ahead of time.
I've already ordered my ravioli from Deano's Pasta. They'll have the usual selection, but you can contact them and pick from their larger variety. (I'm getting Seafood Ravioli and can't wait)
Tower Root Beer is loading up the truck and bringing a super variety of soda. We'll put them by the door so you won't have far to walk with your purchase!
I've heard a lot of positive feedback from our customers that got meat and poultry from Shady Pine Farm. You will have your chance to enjoy on Saturday. (Get the grill ready to go)
Maple Syrup and Honey make any meal a little bit better. Honey Pot Farm is happy to help you stock up your pantry.

Things are quickly coming together for a great day of fun and local products at our very first Autumn Indoor Farmer's Market. Everything gets started at 9:00 a.m. in the North Reading Moose Lodge 1511 140 North St., and continues until 1:00 p.m.
We'll have free coffee & water, Yarrow is coming with his balloons, and there will be a face painter too! Brian Henderson is singing from 9:00 to 11:00 and then North Reading High School Student Chrissy Pace will sing from 11:00 to 1:00.

Farmer Dave's has all of your favorite local veggies to satisfy your guests on Thanksgiving. I'm sure there will be plenty of apples for baking too.
Arrowhead is coming and should have some jams and hopefully some fresh eggs too with their spray pesticide free produce.
For those of you that don't have time to bake, Razzy's is coming and I'm sure they will also be accepting orders for Thanksgiving as well as for this weekend. (1 of those squares will go great with a free cup of coffee!)
One of our Summer Market favorites is Deano's Pasta and they will have their usual selection of delicious pastas and sauces. What an easy meal to enjoy while your prepping on Tuesday and Wednesday!
I'm sure you've had time to empty those bottles of honey and maple syrup you both in September. Honey Pot Maple Farm is here to help you stock up those shelves.
Another super easy wonderful dinner item for the days ahead is the rice dishes from El Camino. Yes, they are back and you better get your empanadas early because we even have lunch covered Saturday.
What's better to have with your lunch than a bubbly bottle of Tower Root Beer. Drink some at the market and take a case home. (We'll put them right by the door so you can grab it on the way out)
There's still Saturday and Sunday dinner to get to. Seafood Express will be taking advance orders and bringing the best fresh local fish that we've gotten used to seeing over the last 2 seasons. This is the perfect time of year to enjoy clam chowder and lobster bisque too.
Going to family for Thanksgiving? Here is something you can bring along to make everyone happy. Frankie's Sweet Shoppe will have the chocolates you need. (better buy 2 because I don't think you'll be able to resist eating one before Thursday)

Can you believe we're down to just 2 markets left this season? Now's the time to take advantage of all of the fresh
local produce that's offered. I've lost count of the number of different tomatoes there have been to choose from the
last few weeks. Every week seems to bring a new fresh fruit to get. I'm sure we're all going to wish we got more
while we all could! Even if your running late from work or running around for practices, you can make a quick stop
at our convenient location.
The Farm Stand Food Truck is back again. Have you tried the Barbecue Chicken Basket yet?
This week we welcome back Elsa so sing and take pictures with her fans at 4:15. At 5:15, the Chapman Brothers are

I hope that this finds you enjoying this beautiful Labor Day Weekend.
Sadly, most of us will be starting on Tuesday to work ourselves back
into a regular routine of daily life. We really hope that as you do this,
you will include the last 4 Wednesday Farmer's Markets as a part of this.

Here we go again. This week the Farmer's Market returns to being the "only show in town" on Wednesdays.
I hope you all enjoyed the barbecues, but now we have clear sailing until the end of September.
Some of the vendors have had lower sales during the barbecues and are concerned that the community
isn't as enthusiastic about the market. We need to show them that you want them to keep coming
We will have entertainment and new this week, there will be a food truck at each for the remaining markets.
If you missed out on the food truck festival, or you want to pick something up that's prepared while you
get your other fresh local produce and products, it will be there for you. You are also welcome to come
and enjoy the park if that's what you prefer. Parking will be much easier for the rest of the season too
so if you don't have much time, it will be easy in, easy out shopping.

Hope you were all able to visit us last week for our biggest market so far!
I know that I've enjoyed Haddock, Burgers, Boneless Chicken Thighs, Corn, Tomatoes, Coffee,
Cheese, Mushroom Ravioli, and barbecue sauce direct from our vendors since last Wednesday.
(I'm sure I'm forgetting something)
Chef Mike's New Cookbook is ready and he will be doing a signing during the whole market this week.
I saw that Farmer Dave's is picking peaches already. Not confirmed that we'll see them yet, but hopes
The most common phrase I heard last Wednesday was, "I should have brought a cooler!"
If you are going to the barbecue, don't get left out. Bring a cooler so you can still take the
items you want home with you. The market also closes before the barbecue ends so don't
wait. Come early and enjoy it all.
