Many of you were looking for Bagel Land last week when they got delayed setting up. Let them know you missed them.
Maple Syrup will dress up the breakfast portion of the weekend days and Maple Pot Honey Farm has what we want including FRESH EGGS.

We are so excited to open up the 2016 outdoor season for the North Reading Farmer's Markets. The weather looks great for Wednesday and the vendors are all gearing up for another year of providing us with some of the best local produce and products available. The Market opens at 4:00 and continues until 7:00 at Ipswich River Park with plenty of parking available. This will be our 3rd season and we need your help to continue to improve and grow the market so we can be assured on having the best vendors around. Please try to build us into your weekly schedule and we're sure you will be glad you do.
WHO'S COMING THIS WEEK?
We are still working on some of the spots, so please continue to watch for updates, but here are the ones that are all set.
ARROWHEAD FARM will have Asian Greens, Lettuces, new crop Onions, storage Potatoes and Garlic, Rhubarb, Strawberries, greenhouse grown Heirloom Tomatoes, as well as Jams & Jellies and probably some flowers.
FARMER DAVE'S will also have a great selection of Bok Choy, lettuce, strawberries, and more. Each week the selection will grow as the season produces more and more items.
HONEY POT MAPLE FARM plans on being with us every other week so you want to make sure you get enough honey and maple syrup to keep everyone smiling for 2 weeks at a time.

This weather is helping us feel like its getting closer to the outdoor markets, but believe it or not, the indoor season comes to an end SATURDAY.
Once again, we invade the North Reading Moose Lodge 1511 from 9:00 to 1:00 to provide the opportunity to buy local.

This Saturday, from 9:00 to 1:00 at the North Reading Moose Lodge 1511 on North St we have 14 vendors ready to offer you some of the best local products available. Many of you regulars couldn't make it last time and we hope to see you with us this week.
This is a great time of year to get local produce from our 2 farms, Arrowhead and Farmer Dave's. It always amazes me the amount of items they have to offer. This time last year, they also had some beautiful floral baskets and plants.
Many of you missed having Seafood Express last market, but they are scheduled to be with us this time. Take advantage of the opportunity to order ahead to be sure and get your first choice. They will also have fresh fish and seafood if you can't decide ahead of time.
I've already ordered my ravioli from Deano's Pasta. They'll have the usual selection, but you can contact them and pick from their larger variety. (I'm getting Seafood Ravioli and can't wait)
Tower Root Beer is loading up the truck and bringing a super variety of soda. We'll put them by the door so you won't have far to walk with your purchase!
I've heard a lot of positive feedback from our customers that got meat and poultry from Shady Pine Farm. You will have your chance to enjoy on Saturday. (Get the grill ready to go)

Things are quickly coming together for a great day of fun and local products at our very first Autumn Indoor Farmer's Market. Everything gets started at 9:00 a.m. in the North Reading Moose Lodge 1511 140 North St., and continues until 1:00 p.m.
We'll have free coffee & water, Yarrow is coming with his balloons, and there will be a face painter too! Brian Henderson is singing from 9:00 to 11:00 and then North Reading High School Student Chrissy Pace will sing from 11:00 to 1:00.

Can you believe we're down to just 2 markets left this season? Now's the time to take advantage of all of the fresh

Here we go again. This week the Farmer's Market returns to being the "only show in town" on Wednesdays.
I hope you all enjoyed the barbecues, but now we have clear sailing until the end of September.
Some of the vendors have had lower sales during the barbecues and are concerned that the community
isn't as enthusiastic about the market. We need to show them that you want them to keep coming
We will have entertainment and new this week, there will be a food truck at each for the remaining markets.
If you missed out on the food truck festival, or you want to pick something up that's prepared while you
get your other fresh local produce and products, it will be there for you. You are also welcome to come
and enjoy the park if that's what you prefer. Parking will be much easier for the rest of the season too

The most common phrase I heard last Wednesday was, "I should have brought a cooler!"
If you are going to the barbecue, don't get left out. Bring a cooler so you can still take the
items you want home with you. The market also closes before the barbecue ends so don't
wait. Come early and enjoy it all.
